Baked Chicken With Onions, Green Beans, and Tomato Slices

Chicken can be baked in conventional oven or cooked in slow cooker. However, I often like to put chicken straight from freezer on drip pan so I can start baking, even unfrozen in the Nuwave Oven.

I’m continuing to empty freezer and found this chicken quarter. I usually now only buy chicken breasts but I wasn’t going to throw a chicken quarter away! LOL

Place chicken quarter (frozen) on drip pan that comes with the Nuwave oven. Place drip pan over a cake pan or something to catch the fat and drippings. I put a little water into the cake pan to help with moistness while cooking and to make cleaning the cake pan easier.

Bake for the frozen chicken quarter for about 15 minutes. I just sprinkle with a little black pepper and topped this with a couple of slices of onion.

After 15 minutes, flip chicken quarter over and top with two fresh slices of onion. Continue to bake for about 15 more minutes. Not bad to cook from frozen to fully cooked.

Place green beans on microwavable plate, cook for 45 seconds to 1 minute. Add baked chicken quarter to plate, and sliced tomato to complete the meal.

Very easy, quick, healthy, and filling.
